New Leaders at Wesley!

Wesley seal

A new year means new opportunities! Wesley is excited to announce some new additions to our leadership team for the 2021-22 school year.

We shared in May that Rachel Goodman would be our new MYP Principal. She is one of the most senior team members at Wesley, having been here since the beginning. She has previously served as both a PYP and MYP teacher, MYP instructional coach, IB Coordinator, and most recently as PYP Assistant Principal. We are excited to welcome Ms. Goodman's experience, history, and perspective to this role.

Also serving our MYP students in his new role as MYP Assistant Principal is Richard Pavone. He has been at Wesley since 2017 when he began as an MYP teacher. He has also served our community as IB Coordinator. He has a degree in Middle Grades Education and is currently pursuing his MEd in Educational Leadership. Mr. Pavone is looking forward to promoting a culture of learning and engagement at all levels, and we are excited to have him on the team!

We are also happy to welcome Crystal Hudson as our new PYP Assistant Principal. She will work alongside returning Principal Dr. Satterfield to lead our youngest students. Ms. Hudson has served as an Instructional Coach for the last two years at Wesley, and she has a master's in teaching K-8 students. She is excited to collaborate with our amazing Wesley staff to navigate a smooth and successful transition back to the classroom. We are glad Ms. Hudson is bringing her experience and leadership to our PYP team!

It's going to be a great year, and we look forward to seeing everyone on August 3!
