We are thrilled to share an exciting milestone for Wesley International Academy.
After a season of growth and renovation, we are moving back into our beautifully updated home this summer in preparation for the 2026–2027 school year.
In the summer of 2025, Wesley temporarily relocated to allow for a full-scale renovation of our Memorial Drive campus. Now, thanks to months of thoughtful planning and hard work, we are preparing to return to a refreshed, modernized building designed to support our students for decades to come.
Did you know a school has stood on the Wesley campus since the 1880s?
What began as Fair Street Grammar School has been home to generations of students and educators. This year, as Wesley International Academy celebrates 20 years, we are proud to continue that legacy, right where it all began.
After a season of renovation and renewal, we are moving back into our refreshed Memorial Drive building this summer for the 2026–2027 school year. As we mark two decades of developing global citizens, we will do so in a space thoughtfully updated to support the next 20 years and beyond.

A Comprehensive $8 Million Renovation
In June 2025, our current building began to undergo an $8 million renovation. This comprehensive project includes:
- Upgraded plumbing and HVAC systems
- Enhanced lighting and modern flooring
- Additional improvements designed to create a more comfortable, efficient, and inspiring space for learning
This renovation is more than just a series of updates—it's an investment in the future of Wesley International Academy, ensuring we remain a beacon of educational excellence for the next 20 years and beyond.
2025-26 School Year at Coan
To make way for our campus renovation, Wesley International Academy temporarily relocated to the Coan Building on Hosea Williams Drive for the 2025–2026 school year.
Just a short distance from our Memorial Drive home, Coan allowed us to continue delivering a high-quality, uninterrupted education while our building underwent significant upgrades. Our students, families, and staff carried the spirit of Wesley with them, proving that our community is not defined by walls, but by the people inside them.

This renovation marks an exciting new chapter for our school community. As we return to a refreshed Memorial Drive campus and celebrate 20 years of Wesley International Academy, we are investing in a space designed to inspire growth, creativity, and success for every student.
While our building has been thoughtfully updated, who we are remains the same.
Our mission to develop the whole child through an international lens continues to guide everything we do. Our curriculum, before and after care, extracurricular activities, and daily rhythms will remain consistent. The programs our families know and trust will continue, now supported by an improved learning environment built to serve Wesley for the next 20 years and beyond.
