In the fall of 2022, we saw the impacts of the highly contagious new strain of Covid-19. While we don't have regular testing at this time, we know Covid is still impacting our community. We want to continue protecting each other.

Here's how to know if you should keep your child at home!

Not Feeling Well?

We wish to provide a healthy environment for all children. For the sake of others, as well as your own child, parents are asked to keep home any child with a fever of 99.9 degrees or higher or with other symptoms of illness, such as diarrhea, hacking cough, vomiting, etc.

A child should be free from fever or contagious disease for 24 hours before returning to school. If your child has a contagious disease, s/he should be kept at home and the fact of the condition reported to WIA. Contagious diseases include, but are not limited to, illnesses such as strep throat, pinworms, conjunctivitis (pink eye), impetigo, head lice, measles, mumps, chicken pox, scarlet fever, fifth disease, etc.
