PYP Curriculum Night
August 21 | 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm
Curriculum Night is an opportunity for teachers to connect with parents.
The PYP Curriculum Night is an opportunity for teachers to share school and classroom expectations; review the Wesley Way and behavioral expectations; introduce the Program of Inquiry and Units of Inquiry; collect any pertinent information needed from parents; and allow time for Q&A.
Upon arrival, all parents will meet in the auditorium, where a whole group session will begin at 4:15 pm. Then, parents will then go to their child’s classroom for a presentation. Chinese and Specials teachers will rotate through the classes they serve to distribute information and make themselves available for questions.
This is an ideal time for parents to get to know their child/children’s teacher(s) and learn about how a positive parent/teacher partnership can help build a successful learner. Please understand that this is not a time for individual parent conferences. While we know this can be an anxious time, we ask that you limit your student-specific questions to individual conferences that can be scheduled with your teacher. Thank you!
